When I founded Guyana Global Connect, my goal was simple: to build a community that connects Guyanese businesses with one another and with international partners interested in doing business in Guyana.

As a businessman, I have seen firsthand the challenges of navigating Guyana’s business environment — from limited access to reliable information to the complexities of building trust across borders. While our ecosystem for business support is expanding — with institutions such as the Centre for Development, the Chambers of Commerce, and various business incubators and accelerators — there remains a pressing need for a transparent, community‑driven platform where knowledge can be shared freely.

Guyana Global Connect does not seek to replace these valuable resources, but rather to complement them. By providing verified listings, shared insights, and opportunities for genuine collaboration, we aim to foster:

• Greater business knowledge and confidence,
• Expanded access to international markets for Guyanese enterprises, and
• Stronger trust from global investors and partners.
